  Scripture: Acts 3:1-5

  Denomination: Baptist

Summary: The lame man looked at Peter and John expecting to recieve something. When people look at Christians, they expect to see something. What would I want people to see when they look on me???

LOOK ON ME

*Peter and John fastened their eyes on this man, and said "Look on us."

*He looked expecting to recieve something.

*He was helpless and hopeless, but they had something to offer him.

*As Christians, people are looking at us everyday and expecting to see something. We should have something to offer them.

*When people look on me, I want them to see.....

I. MY LIGHT

*Jn.1 - Jesus was the light

*Matt. 5-14-16 - We are the light

*2 Cor. 4:1-6 - We can’t let our light be hid.

II. MY LOVE

*"...love one another as I have loved you.."

*He loved us UNIVERSALLY

*He loved us UNCONDITIONALLY

*He loved us PERSONALLY

*He DEMONSTRATED His love!!!

*I should love the way He loved and still loves!!!

III. MY HUMILITY

*Phil 2:4

* James 4:10

IV. MY HOPE

*1 Pet. 3:15

* I have something to offer the world, I have JESUS.

WHEN PEOPLE LOOK ON YOU (AND THEY DO) WHAT DO THEY SEE ???
