Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.[Rev_13:12, Rev_13:13, Rev_13:15; Dan_11:36, Dan_11:37; 2Th_2:4] Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
The Leopard(Panther) here represents cruelty and blood thirsty-ness. The Lions mouth represents great power to kill and destroy as with a lion. The Bear, Lion and Leopard all represent the strength and fearcness of the Beast. Jer 5:6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
So, Who is the Beast ? These are the attributes of The Anti-Christ, aka The Beast. Satan, Represented as the Dragon, gives the anti-Christ His seat(of Power), and great authority.This is the reason that they anti-Christ will be able to show many wonders and signs. Satan’s seat, Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.Where is the throne of Satan ? Pergamos. [The worship of Asclepius is believed to have originated in Thessaly. Temples were built to him at Epidaurus, Cos, Pergamum, and later Rome, where his worship spread after a plague in 293 Treatments, including massage and baths, were given to the sick. The serpent and the cock were sacred to Asclepius.]
9.What is the New Jerusalem ? Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. Heb 12:22-24, But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”church of the firstborn” The Name of Christ Church. “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem” New Jerusalem is and will be the Children of God with Jesus as King and His reign as supream.The spiritual Jerusalem; the true church of God. (Heb_12:22), “the heavenly Jerusalem.” “New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God” (Rev_3:12; Rev_21:2). Here “the Messianic theocracy, which before Christ’s second appearing is the Church, and after it, Christ’s kingdom of glory” [Meyer].
10. Who is Satan ? This is the Best discription of who Satan is. Eze 28:11-19. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
