Summary: The difference between receiving your miracle, your healing, or your deliverance may be as simple as getting rid of the question mark.

Mat 8:1-3 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Mk 1:39-42 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.

42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

Lu 5:12-13 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

It is sad today that much of the church world has followed the example of this poor leper, and has put a question mark where God put a period.

It has been said that this leper had some sort of discerning that in the purposes of God it may not be Gods will to heal everybody (This is a view that is held by much of the church world).

The fact that Jesus revealed his willingness to heal this leper shows us that it was not a revelation of the purposes of God that the leper had, but in fact it was an ignorance of the purposes of God he had.

How sad it is to take the view that this leper may have had a revelation of the purposes of God that he stay sick:, rather than to take the entire volume of the scripture that clearly teaches that Jesus healed all that came to him.

And that in doing so he was manifesting the perfect will of God:

Jn 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Jn 6: 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Jn 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Everything Jesus did and said was a perfect revelation and manifestation of the Fathers Will.

Jesus willingness and Healing of this poor leper is proof that it is Gods will to heal every leper that will come to him and receive him as their healer

Ac 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

MATTHEW 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.

MATTHEW 12:15 But when Jesus knew [it], he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

LUKE 6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed [them] all.

PSALM 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

ISAIAH 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Jer 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD;

1 PETER 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

The whole of scripture teaches us that it is just as much Gods will to heal all those who come to him in faith as it is to save those who come to him in faith.

In fact God tied them together in the atoning work of Christ.

The sad fact is that instead of possessing by faith what Jesus paid for in his atoning work religion has put question marks that have robbed us of our inheritance.

Jesus said It is finished (period).

But religion and tradition leaves us with questions as though God didn’t really mean what he said, as though it’s not really finished, as though maybe he will and maybe he won’t. as though some are special chosen ones and some are not,

It may not be leprosy but much of the church has adopted this question mark mentality concerning the things of God.

We many times act as though healing is something we have to try and convince God to give to us, or as though we have to prove ourselves worthy enough to receive it or as though we have to overcome Gods reluctance.

The problem is the Church has put question marks where God has put a period.

There has been a sort of Doris Day theology that has worked it’s way into the church.

(K serah serah what ever will be will be)………….

Many times we approach God with this same question mark mentality, (Doris Day theology).

But it wears a real religious looking robe, (it attributes everything to the sovereignty of God).

*God knows what I need

*When the time is right

*It’s in Gods hands

*If he does it’s ok and if he doesn’t it’s ok because he’s God and he knows whats best for me.

*If it’s his will he will and if it’s not he won’t

*Well maybe God hasn’t healed me because he knows if he did I wouldn’t serve him.

This is no different than the poor leper who was living under guilt and shame and condemnation and therefore uncertainty concerning Jesus willingness to heal him.

You say (Well he is a sovereign God) Certainly he is, and that sovereign God has already told us in his word what his will is, and his will does not change because his word does not change because it is forever settled in heaven.

It’s time for us the church of the living God, to remove the question mark that religion has put concerning the will of God ,And put the period back where it belongs.

1 PETER 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (period).

There are some things that we as the church need to understand, They need to be settled once and for all, no more question marks.

The moment you are born again you are a new creature in Christ Jesus.

*At that moment all that Christ died for becomes your rightful possession

*At that moment you were as righteous as the son of God, because you have his righteousness,

*At that moment satans dominion over you ended, because you were translated into the kingdom of God.

*At that moment you received authority over all of satans kingdom

*At that moment you were redeemed

*You became a branch of the vine

*You were healed

These are new creation realities, they are faith facts.

Gal 3:13 is not speaking futuristically. (It is in the past tense).

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

In the mind of God he looks at you through the finished work of his son and he sees you as a possessor of all that Jesus paid for in his atoning work.

But the devil doesn’t want you to enjoy your inheritance, he doesn’t want you to prosper, he doesn’t want you to walk in health, So he doesn’t come right out and deny Gods power to save heal and deliver and work miracles because he knows the church would recognize him,

So what he does is just get the church to put a question mark where God put a period, and not deny Gods ability and power but Question his willingness.

The fact is this question mark has kept many of Gods people bound in poverty and lack and sickness and disease.

We learn from this encounter of the leper and Jesus that as soon as the question mark was removed, what God was willing to do all the time was immediately manifested.

When we question Gods willingness to do what he has clearly revealed in his word, (Faith has nothing to stand on, it has no ground in which to sink its roots, It’s like a bucket with a hole in it.

So today The Holy Spirit wants quicken your faith to believe for everything that he promised in his word. And he’s saying don’t put a question mark where he put a period.
