ARE YOU LIVING OR DYING?
HEAVEN OR HELL
Every single person here tonight is gonna face eternity some day....
When a person dies a physical death here, he’s not dead like a dog or a cat or deer something like that...
When a person dies, We face eternity....
And what I mean here, is that,
You are gonna face up to Jesus Christ..
Matthew 25:46 says:
and these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into
life eternal!!!
These un-righteous people here, they’ll
be cast into hell, or the lake of fire...
it tells us in Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire..
The lake of fire is that terrible and final dwelling place where the whoremongers and the adulterers and the liars and the murderers and the rapists, and the sinners
and the list goes on and on and on...
This is where they are going....
You’re gettin the picture here right??
We all need to be giving thanks to God for all the warnings that He gives us in His Word..about this terrible place..
And those of us, who have given our lives and hearts to Jesus Christ need to be giving Him Praise, for allowing us to be a part of a beautiful place with streets of Gold and Walls of Jasper and Gates of Pearl....
That He’s gone to prepare for us!!!
This is that wonderful place tonight called Heaven....
Everything I have read about Heaven in God’s word is all good news...AMEN
BUT, Everything I have read about hell is nothin but bad news tonight....
This is the one thing about God’s Word, it points out the good stuff, but it points out the bad stuff just as well!!!!!!!
And us Christians need to be reaching out to our sinner friends and loved ones,
We need to be spreading the good news...
and telling them about this wonderful place
called Heaven, and warning them away from that terrible place called hell!!!!!
Cause when someone dies, that don’t know Jesus where do they go????? HELL
The Book of Mark chapter 9 tells it like this
AND if thy hand offend thee cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
This is plainly telling us that there is literal fire in hell and it never stops!!!!!AMEN
And it says if thy hand offend thee cut it off...Now we know we ain’t supposed to whack off our hand, this means we have to stop the evils and the bad things we do in this world....OR ELSE!!!!!
Like for example it would be better for a sinner to give his soul to Jesus Christ and go to heaven, than to continue on in his sinful life and end up in this place called hell....
The Bible Says:
Where the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched!!!!!
These Verses tell us very plainly of a place
called hell......this don’t leave any room for un-belief now does it....
But there’s plenty in this life who are
plain ole un-believers......
Hell is a terrible place that is nothing but everlasting punishment....
Matthew chapter 25 said
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal...
God’s word tells us plenty about what hell’s gonna be like but it also gives specific details about the kind of people that are gonna go there as well......
In the book of Psalm it says:
The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God!!!!!
This verse said the wicked shall be turned into hell....
Most people would agree that there ought to be an eternal dwelling place for those who are wicked and mean!!!!AMEN
AND THERE IS JUST THIS PLACE!!
And maybe its terrible to say but there have been lots of mean and wicked people who’s lived on this earth and hell is their final home that they’re living in, Right Now...
The Bible says the wicked or the redeemed go to hell!!!!!
and unless a person is borned again, whether he’s evil or wicked here on this earth or not The Bible Plainly says...
He cannot see the Kingdom of God!!!
So we can see from the Bible that the wicked go to hell....
And you don’t have to be a wicked person to miss out on Heaven...and Go to hell...
all you have to do is reject Jesus Christ
and forget Him, and deny Him...
Leave God out and reject Jesus Christ and guess what? when you die you go to hell...
But on the other hand....no matter what terrible thing you’ve done, no matter what kind of terrible sins you’ve committed...
Accept Jesus as your personal Savior then you’ll inherit Gates of Pearl and Streets of Pure Gold!!!!!!!
In a wonderful place called Heaven!!!!!
Revelation gives us a list of the wicked or the sinners, that’s gonna end up in hell..
Chapter 21 says:
But the fearful, and unbelieving and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death......
This is telling us very simply who is gonna end up in hell if they don’t repent before its too late!!!!
And you can quickly pick someone out of any crowd that don’t know Jesus Christ...
They’ll be cussing or smoking or drinking and taking God’s Name in vain.....
If you’re committing sin then we already know that you don’t Know God!!!!!
1st John chapter 6 says:
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.....
When you accept Jesus He’ll begin to make
changes in your life.....
You won’t want to cuss anymore and you won’t want to drink anymore and you won’t want to hang out with a bunch of drinkers and druggers, and adulterers and bar hoppers...anymore....
The Bible says in 2nd Corinthians:
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you!!!
God wants us to come to heaven...He don’t want any of us to go to hell...
God does not send us there...
We send ourselves’s there......
But We have to resist the devil
the Bible says; Resist the devil and he must
flee from you!!!!!!!
1st John chapter 3 says
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning....
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the
works of the devil!!!!!
Don’t work for the devil people
work for Jesus.....
Jesus said in John 14:6
I am the way, the truth, and the life...
No man cometh unto the father but by me...
A person won’t go to hell if he’ll just
follow Jesus Christ as his personal Savior
and follow God’s Holy Word...
The Bible says those who accept Jesus
go to Heaven, BUT those who don’t,
go into eternal torments and punishment...
It’s just so simple, what we can learn from the Bible about some of the kinds of people who’ll go to hell.....
Luke 16 tells us of a certain rich man..
Who had all the fine things of life
and there was a little beggar named Lazarus
and He just wanted the crumbs form the rich mans table...and the dogs licked his sores..
And it says the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abrahams’s bosom:
and the rich man died as well and was buried...
And it says in hell the rich man lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and could see Abraham afar off....and there was Lazarus in his bosom....
Cradled up in the protecting arms......
The rich man didn’t go to hell because he was rich and had the finer things of this life...He went to hell because he wasn’t rich toward God...He never accepted Jesus....
He ignored God....He left God out of his life
So he ended up in the torments of hell...
There’s another kind of people who will spend eternity in this terrible place called hell.....
In the 25th chapter of Matthew....
There’s a parable that tells of 10 virgins and their lamps... and five were wise and five were foolish..five had their lamps oiled up and wicks trimmed and the other five had no oil in their lamps...and while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept...
And when the bridegroom came at midnight those virgins who were filled up and ready, went in with the bridegroom, and the other five that were foolish and un-prepared didn’t get to go in....
What kind of shape is your lamp in tonight?
Are your filled up and got your wicks trimmed or are you one of the foolish ones..
Empty and un-trimmed!!!!!!
This is one of the simplest parables that Jesus spoke about!!!!! I Think anyway...
You’re either filled up with Jesus and ready to go....or your empty and unprepared, and Hell Bound!!!!!
In VS. 10 of the 25th Chapter of John
it said....
THEY THAT WE’RE READY AND WENT IN!!!!!!!!!!!
This is just simply telling us that we gotta be ready when the bridegroom comes for us!!!
And He’s coming for us and it ain’t gonna be long either......
This didn’t mean the five foolish ones were bad people....they we’re virgins........
But they weren’t ready!!!!!!
AND What weren’t they ready for?????
They weren’t ready to meet their Master...
And after the bridegroom closed the door.. the unwise virgins wanted in.. and what was it that He told them?????
He Said.....Verily I say unto you....
I KNOW YOU NOT!!!!!!!
I KNOW YOU NOT!!!!!!!
Wouldn’t that be some sad words tonight??
The Bible speaks of the fool that will be cast into hell....
In the book of Luke Chapter 12...
Jesus spoke of a man that God called a fool..
This man’s crop brought forth plentifully
and not thinking of nothing but himself..
he said I’ll tear down my barns, and build
bigger ones....
I’ll make a bigger place to put all my fruits..
And he thought now was the time
to eat drink and be merry....
OOOOHHH but honey tonight’s not the time to worry about eating, or drinking,
or being merry....
Now’s the time to Give the Lord some
Praise, and Honor, and Glory,
for the many wonderful Blessing’s He has given us!!!!!!
And He Is Worthy Of Our Praise!!!!!
But this man never thought of Praising
God.....He was just thinking of sitting back and taking it easy....
BUT God said unto him, THOU FOOL
THIS NIGHT THY SOUL SHALL BE REQUIRED OF THEE....Then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided!!
GUESS WHAT......HE AIN’T TAKIN IT WITH HIM........IS HE????
There’s not to many people in the Bible that I’ve read that God called a fool....But remember in the Old Testament, God said
The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God!!!!!!!
God called the man who said there is no God a fool.....
And God called this farmer that had a good
growing season a Fool!!!!!!!
This is the attitude of so many people in the world today....People are laying up their treasures and their worried about their 401k’s and their Big Life Insurance Policies
and their Big Stock Market Investments..
And their Big CD’s at the bank...
And guess what people...its all gonna burn!!
But we’re all saying Eat, Drink, and be merry.......
We’re Enjoying the wonderful things of this life....way to many people today ain’t taking thought of their eternal things......
We’re supposed to be laying up our treasures for our eternal home...
And Certainly Not for this life!!!!
People listen to me tonight.....
There is a Heaven to gain and a place called hell to steer clear from!!!!!!
So many people will say...I belong to a church....People a Church can’t get you to heaven..
People will say...I’ve been baptized....
People Baptism won’t take you to heaven....
I hear people say all the time and I’ve said it my self....I’m a good person...I do good deeds....I’ve got morals.....I’m not a mean person......
People you have to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior....
All the above, is only your path to hell.....
The devil has so many people blinded.....
Thinking there’s no heaven or hell...
Thinking you don’t need Jesus
But people you do need Him.....
And You have to accept Him......
God sent His only Son Jesus To the Cross to die for our sins....The sins of this world...
So we wouldn’t have to go to hell...
He was raised to life again the 3rd day for our redemption......
Jesus Paid that price on Calvary....
So that we could have eternal life...
And it’s God’s will, that every man, woman,
boy, and girl, accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior and be saved!!!!
1st Timothy 2:4 says:
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.....
People there are people like the rich man and Lazarus...and there is someone like the foolish farmer...and there is people like the five foolish virgins.....and People
there is a place tonight called hell.....
And the bible tells us that all these people are in hell!!!!!!
Are you ready tonight to meet God???
Do you have Jesus Christ living in your heart?????
In Acts 4:12 says:
There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved...
WILL YOU ACCEPT HIM TONIGHT??
