Those who are His

2Ti 2:19 Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.

1. Are those who are in Christ

• Those In his plan

2Ti 1:9 who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal

Eph 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:

• Those in Him during His life on earth

Rom 5:19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one shall the many be made righteous.

2Co 5:21 Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

• Those in Him during their lives on earth

Col 2:6 As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,

2Co 5:17 Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.

• Those in Him to eternity

1Jo 5:11-12 And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.

2. Are those who Christ is in them

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.

Rom 8:10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

3. Are those who imitates Him

1Co 11:1 Be ye imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Rom 15:7 Wherefore receive ye one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.

1Jo 3:16 Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Heb 12:2 looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

2Co 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

4. Are those who know Him

Phi 3:8 Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,

Phi 3:10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.

Heb 8:10-11 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his fellow-citizen, And every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For all shall know me, From the least to the greatest of them.

Do you know him?

1Jo 2:3 And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Do you keep them? Are you one of those who are His?
