AS SEEN IN THE LIFE OF JACOB

I. I AM WITH THEE – THE PROVISION

Genesis 28:I5 [NIV] I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."

Genesis 28:15 [BBE] And truly, I will be with you, and will keep you wherever you go, guiding you back again to this land; and I will not give you up till I have done what I have said to you.

Romans 8:32 [BBE] He who did not keep back his only Son, but gave him up for us all, will he not with him freely give us all things?

Matthew 28:20 [WEY] “ . . . remember, I am with you always, day by day, until the Close of the Age."

II. I WILL BE WITH THEE – THE PROMISE

Genesis 31: 3 [NIV] Then the LORD said to Jacob, "Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you."

Isaiah 41:10 [BBE] Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.

Hebrews 13:5 [BBE] Be free from the love of money and pleased with the things which you have; for He Himself has said, I will be with you at all times.

III. GOD HAS BEEN WITH ME – THE PROVING

Genesis 31: 5 [NIV] He said to them, "I see that your father’s attitude towards me is not what it was before, but the God of my father has been with me.

Genesis 31:5 [BBE] And he said to them, It is clear to me that your father’s feeling is no longer what it was to me; but the God of my father has been with me

IV. GOD BE WITH YOU – THE PRONOUNCEMENT

Genesis 48: 21 [NIV] Then Israel said to Joseph, "I am about to die, but God will be with you and take you back to the land of your fathers.

Genesis 48:21 [BBE] Then Israel said to Joseph, Now my death is near; but God will be with you, guiding you back to the land of your fathers.
