Ps 24:8

8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

God usually used other nations to do His fighting. But when it comes to His children, He takes care of business His self.

Egypt was a super power and there wasn’t a nation strong enough to defeat them. So He took care of this situation His self.

Ex 4:22-23

22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

He told Pharaoh, you may bully around other nations, but now your messing around with my kids.

Your not fighting slaves. Your messing with the King of Kings.

So He began to use weapons of mass destruction.

Ex 8:2

I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

Ex 8:6

and the frogs came

Ex 9:10

Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast.

14 For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.

18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

Ex 9:23-25

23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

Ex 10:4

to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:

22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

Ex 11:4-5

4 And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die,

Ex 12:29

29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt,

Ex 12:30

30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night,

Ex 12:31

and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

Rom 8:31

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

2 Thess 1:6

6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

2 Chron 20:15

for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

2 Chron 20:17

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you,

But two thousand years ago God recognized another enemy that had to be dealt with and that was Satan and the weapon he was using against God’s creation.

All of the plagues of Egypt could not defeat this enemy, for you see this enemy was not tangible, but it was a condition of the heart that only one weapon could destroy.

The birth, death, resurrection of Jesus.

1 Peter 1:18-19

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ,

1 John 3:8

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Has God used this weapon on you yet? If not, you need to let Him today.
