Summary: Your present season may seem like the fiery furnace of the 3 Hebrew boys, but look around for your golden connection!

GOD can connect you with anyone, anywhere within 24 hrs. HE knows where you live & HE is fully aware of every human being on this planet. I am telling you this because I want you all to know that no relationship is insignificant in your life. For it is through these relationships that GOD creates your “Golden Connections”.

“Golden Connections” are those people who become Divine Bridges that enable you to exit from one season & enter into your next season of blessing. In the scripture referenced above, the butler was a connection for Joseph to personally meet Pharaoh & interpret his dream. “Golden Connections” don’t take them for granted.

GOD is committed to the completion of your assignment here on earth. So therefore don’t walk or turn away from the people or situations that GOD is bringing before you. Remember that GOD is not some cut-rate magician! He is the Master & Creator of the universe. HE is the All knowing, All Powerful GOD & before HIM there is no other.

Psalm 138 says, “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me”. Rest assured that GOD knows what HIS plans are for you & the out come.

In Philippians, Paul says “Being confident of this very thing, that HE which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of JESUS CHRIST.” What does this mean?

· It means this: we may always be confident God will perform his good work, in every soul wherein he has really begun it by regeneration; The work of grace will never be perfected till the day of Jesus Christ, the day of his appearance. So, as long as we are on this side, GOD will be setting up Golden Connections for us.

Why do we need Golden Connections? —Because you would not succeed without them. GOD planned it that way. HE wanted us to know & bond with one another. Have you read I Cor. 12:21? The WORD says, “The eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.” In this scripture Paul is describing how each of us fit together. Our relationships with one another increases us. It multiplies our strength!

Eph. 4:16 says: “ From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” So here we see that Golden Connections make an increase of our brotherly love for one another.

· Another reason why we need Golden Connections—GOD wants to bless you!! And one of HIS ways of doing so is to place someone in your life. Sometimes it is someone that we are to be helpers of, other times they are there to help us. Either way GOD is using this opportunity to sharpen your spirit of discernment & increase your love for the saints of GOD.

So everyday, look for your Golden Connection. Expect them & be swift to respond to them.

Now that you understand about these Golden Connections, let me give you a few pointers about them:

1. Your Golden Connection may not be outwardly appealing.

GOD uses burlap sacks to carry HIS gold bars of blessings!! The camels of Abraham may not have been appealing, but they carried the wealth of the patriarch! When Rebecca agreed to water the camels, she was fitted to her Golden Connection in Isaac, her wealthy husband-to-be! Jephthah was the son of a harlot! He was thrown out from his family, yet he became a great leader of the Hebrew people and he was the Golden Connection that brought about the deliverance of GOD’s people!

2. Do not reject a Golden Connection because it does not meet your qualifications!

Let me explain: The butler may not have been received by Joseph as a best friend, but he was Joseph’s golden connection to pharaoh. The Apostle Paul didn’t want to be shipwrecked on the island of Melita, but GOD used this as a Divine Connection for Paul with the leader of the island, Publius. Publius’ father was healed through Paul’s ministry. These are all Divine Connections that were scheduled by GOD.

3. Crisis always brings good people together.

Expect to find gold in every fiery furnace of your life! Friendships are often formed through disasters & tragedies. I read somewhere once that you are just 4 people away from any human on earth. This means that you know someone, who knows another person, who knows a third person, who is connected to anyone you could possibly meet on earth, leaders of nations, CEOs of corporations, etc. GOD can get anyone to you anywhere, anytime!

4. Recognize that GOD often uses what seems to us as illogical methods & unlikely people to help fulfill your earthly assignment.

If you can figure something out, GOD is not in it. Why? Because GOD is a super-natural, miracle working GOD! Look at the Ethiopian eunuch. As he was riding in his chariot, reading the word, he was bewildered & puzzled by the scriptures. He was in need of a Golden Connection with the man of GOD. “Then the Spirit said unto Philip, go near & join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran thither to him.” (Acts 8:29-30) If you are willing, GOD can get your golden connection to you immediately!

These next 3 points may blow some of you out of the water:

5. The golden connection is not necessarily your best friend.

If you remember, the butler forgot about Joseph for 2 years after his exit from the prison! Even though Joseph begged him to lease 2 years!!!

6. The golden connection may not necessarily feel loyal to you!

The connection may not even consider you essential or even desirable. How many people have been looked over for promotions on the job? How many of you know that promotion comes from the LORD? So what if they try to stab you, try to set you up for a fall—know that GOD will always have the last say!

7. The golden connection for your life may have flaws repulsive to you.

Yet, GOD will use their difference or gifting to bless you.

8. Your golden connection may not be a mentor or even a friend.

You may have never met this person; you may not know anything about them except that GOD has placed them in your life for a season. And for this reason hear the next point.

9. Your golden connection may depart from your life, never to be seen again after GOD uses them.

Look again at Philip & the eunuch. After Philip had fulfilled his assignment in this man’s life, the word says the Spirit of GOD took him away. Some golden connections are there for just that time & gone. GOD uses them, and then sends them on to someone else. If we are stubborn & unreceptive to the move of GOD, we will miss our connections to blessings.

These last 2 points are very important! I want you to grasp this & hold it in you hearts:

10. Your golden connection may be used by the Holy Spirit to move YOU from a place of loss to a place of favor.

When Joseph was cast into the prison after being accused by Potiphar’s wife, this had to be the lowest point of his life! But Joseph kept his focus. He never accepted his present trial as a permanent place. He was always looking for his golden connection.

11. Someone is always observing you today, who is capable of greatly blessing you tomorrow.

Remember Ruth. Boaz was discussing her with his employees weeks before she even knew he noticed her! Somebody, somewhere is discussing your promotion this very minute! Somewhere in the seat of power & decision-making, your name is being considered.

Get your faith up! Gird up your loins! Sow seeds of expectations every day. God is planning something so big for you that no devil can stop it!

Never despise where GOD has placed you. Some of us get burned out on our jobs, we feel overlooked, underpaid & just plain worn out. It is natural for us to become agitated, to lose patience when the benefits of our present season seems exhausted (all used up).

But remember it was this sin that robbed the Israelites of their reward in Canaan:

*They complained in Egypt,

*They complained in the wilderness

*They complained continuously, so much so that GOD told Moses he was going to kill them all off & build a nation out of Moses.

GOD has a master plan & a blueprint for your life. It is a wise plan. It will benefit you. Your present season is only a bridge, a connection a gate to something so wonderful, GOD can’t even tell you all of the details.

You must believe that GOD has scheduled your present situation. It contains purpose & benefits just for you! You must determine w/in yourself to stay wherever GOD has placed you for HIM to complete HIS work in you & through you.

· You must exhaust all of your benefits of your present assignment before GOD will promote you to your next season! He will send you connection when the time is ripe.

You may never pass this way again. When GOD was gearing me up to move to Columbia, on the last day of packing, the Spirit of GOD told me to take my shoes off & shake the dust from my feet, because I would never pass that way again! And saints of GOD, I did it & I must tell you that I have not been in/nor will I ever be in such a situation again!.

Stop complaining about long hours & take inventory of the benefits of this present season that may never occur again in your life.

Take inventory of your present season: the benefits of your circumstances, like the song says, “Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your blessings, see what GOD has done!”

Your present season may seem like the fiery furnace of the 3 Hebrew boys, but look around for your golden connection! It will enable you to pass through this season, through this present darkness. You will move on to your next season of increased provision & blessing.

Because GOD has given us each Golden connections!
