I. GOD SAID SO!
A. Sovereign Creator
1. His right 2. Highest 3. His Will
B. Is God Cruel?
1. Pain, suffering, blindness, diseases, cancers never happened
had it not been for SIN
C. Sin of Man Gen 3:14-19
1. Curse of Sin All that is Bad is because of Sin
a. The curse reveals it self in blindness, cancer, handicaps,
failures, behavior, wrecks, pain, suffering and death
2. Sin Nature 3. Destructive 4. Pain
D. All Pain is natural reaction of Sin
E. Sin brings forth forces that wreak havoc!
1. Destroys, Pain, suffering, tribulation ultimately DEATH
F. God USES these forces (results) to His Glory
1. That we might see His goodness & mercy
a. See His Power, Might, Ability & Works in our lives
b. If it hadn’t been for pain & loss, blindness, (Never knew we
needed God)
c. Brings us to a place where we understand that we can’t get
by without HIM
II. WHY, ISN’T IMPORTANT!
A. Argue over Heredity vs. Environment
1. Homo, thief, drunk, liar adultery
2. EXCUSES
a. Born to dance, drink, be Queer **Don’t believe it,
1. Born a Sinner, choose to sin
b. Way raised, Blame Parents, race, U.S.A., Schools
c. None removes the fact: BLIND
B. Still Wrong, Sin is Sin
**NO EXCUSE FOR SIN
1. Against God’s Law
C. Sin isn’t wrong because it’s destructive or even unnatural
* 1. It’s wrong because it attacks, rebels against a Holy,
Righteous & Perfect God
2. Even if Sin had no negative effects, still SIN (Wrong)
D. Reason not important, Unless you can help
