Introduction

§ All things are possible for the person who has faith in God.

§ As Christians, we walk by faith and not by sight.

§ Focusing our attention on God so that all we can see is Him. Then we will see our impossible situations turn around.

§ The Believer can accomplish the impossible through Christ Jesus.

§ We must be single focused. All our attention must be on God, His plan and His will for your life. We can’t afford to vary off course.

§ Let us look at some scriptures this morning and increase our understanding that all things are possible.

1)God can turn around the most hopeless situation.

a) This morning, is there something in your life that looks hopeless, no way out, and impossible for you?

b) All things are possible for people who simply believe that God will show up on their behalf.

(NKJV) Mark 9 16 And He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?” 17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.” 19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

c) Whatever you have the faith to believe for, God can do it.

d) We need to become Christ minded and see the end result.

e) The results you experience is based upon the amount of faith you have for a peculiar thing.

f) God will turn your impossible situations around if you will just believe Him.

g) Tithing and giving offerings unto God is an act of faith and trust in the Lord.

2)God looks at the heart of man to see your faith.

a) King Hezekiah had a heart for God.

(NKJV) Isaiah 38 1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.’”2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD, 3 and said, “Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 And the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying, 5 “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.

i) A "loyal heart" is one that is always trying to do right. God will always check the heart of man. Is yours pure & holy?

ii)Notice that King Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and sought God when his situation looked hopeless. He did not waver in his faith or seek another man’s opinion. He seeked the Lord.

iii)To "turn your face to the wall" is to turn away from everything else that is distracting you until all you can see is God.

iv) Hezekiah even turned away from the prophet Isaiah to seek the Lord.

(1) Turn away from negative people, situations and circumstances until all you see is God. You must get alone in the secret place and press in on the Lord.

(2) God sometimes through difficult situations will use the experience to get your attention or focus back on Him.

(3) God moved on the behalf of Hezekiah because of his faith.

b) God doesn’t look at things like man does.

i) Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart of a man.

ii)Sometimes the outward appearance of something or someone can be deceiving.

(NKJV) 1 Samuel 16 6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the LORD’s anointed is before Him!” 7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

c) Man limits God or puts Him in a box. Limiting God in your faith, limits the possibilities of God to move on your behalf.

d) All things are possible with Christ Jesus, but we must expand your mindset and the capacity of our heart to receive.
