For if I cause you pain , who is there to provide me enjoyment but the one whom I have grieved and made sad?
And I wrote the same to you so that when I came, I might not be myself pained by those who are the ones who ought to make me glad, for I trusted in you all and felt confident that my joy would be shared by all of you.
For I wrote you out of great sorrow and deep distress of heart, with many tears, not to cause you pain but in order to make you realize the overflowing love that I continue increasingly to have for you.
But if someone has caused grief and pain, he has caused it not to me, but in some measure, not to put it too severely, all of you.
For such a one this censure by the majority sufficient .
So you should rather turn and forgive and comfort and encourage , to keep him from being overwhelmed by excessive sorrow and despair.
I therefore beg you to reinstate him in your affections and assure him of your love for him;
For this was my purpose in writing you, to test your attitude and see if you would stand the test, whether you are obedient and altogether agreeable in everything.
If you forgive anyone anything, I too forgive that one; and what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sakes in the presence of Christ (the Messiah),
To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his wiles and intentions.
Now when I arrived at Troas the good news (the Gospel) of Christ, a door of opportunity was opened for me in the Lord,
Yet my spirit could not rest (relax, get relief) because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave from them and departed for Macedonia.
But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,
For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ unto God, among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:
To the latter it is an aroma from death to death ; to the former it is an aroma from life to life . And who is qualified (fit and sufficient) for these things?
For we are not, like so many, peddling God's Word ; but like of sincerity and the purest motive, as by God, we speak in Christ (the Messiah), in the sight and presence of God.
Summary: Paul faced much opposition in ministry. He was forced to change his plans on numerous occasions, and yet he chose to see the possibilities instead of the obstacles. We too will face difficulty, but we must maintain our perspective, seeing possibilities.

Summary: If we could get what we need from God in any other way … If there was anyway else we could earn favor with God … Christ’s death is meaningless. Are we willing to do whatever it takes to show people what they need?
Summary: I must confess that there is something else that I don’t understand – why there seems to be such hatred in this world against anything that is considered to be Christian. (PowerPoints available - #190.)
Summary: I believe in fighting back in order to win, if the devil step on my toes, I will step on his head. I believe this is a time we have to fight back the enemy. We have got to a stage where the devil can’t touch us and go free.
Summary: Maybe you have unforgiveness against someone in your heart. Forgiveness is a problem in the Christian life because it is so hard to do. It is one of the most difficult things to do, yet one of the most needed.
Summary: God’s word exhorts us “not to be unaware of Satan’s schemes” (II Cor 2:11), in order we can be on guard always. This Sermon is all about that and more...in the context of a recently concluded World Championship Chess match, to which an audience can easily
Summary: The catwalk is a tool that fashion houses use to display their best products. And II Corinthians tells us that God has His own kind of "catwalk" that he leads us down in "triumphal procession." Why is God "showing us off" like this? And what is He selling
Summary: The devices (modus operandi) of the devil are those ways in which he works in our lives in order to lead us astray from God and into sin. We should be very familiar with his devices and the defenses we can make when he attacks us.
Summary: Cuando conocemos las artimañas y las estrategias de Satanas como nuestro enemigo, para el cristiano sera mas facil poder entender cuales son los planes y los propositos que el tiene, asi podremos defendernos y contra atacar mejor.
