The gong is only mentioned once in all of scripture. Why would Paul use it to start the famous "Love Chapter" and what warning does it contain for us today? (This sermon was preached as part of the series by this name preached by Jeff Strite.)

Everyone else cannot have a relationship for you with God, and they won't! Everyone cannot walk your journey and they won't! Everyone cannot go where you're going and they can't! Everyone cannot accept the destiny God is taking you to, only you can!!

This sermon is designed to guide the hearer to the usefulness of love. The God kind of love is unknown to the flesh. It is a work of the Spirit. Love has power to alter many of the challenges we have in life, if we would learn to use it.
