1 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers,

In a culture which values its elderly less and less, God calls us as the church to treat the elderly like family and like a fortune.

Like a family the church needs to show respect, give provision, and use proper discipline.
