Judges 6 - NIV
13 “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”
20 The angel of God said to him, “Take the meat and the unleavened bread, place them on this rock, and pour out the broth.” And Gideon did so.

Gideon was an unlikely candidate to lead Israel against the Midianites, but God often uses the weak and inadequate. Our service to Him is not dependent upon our wisdom or ability, but it must rely on the Lord through faith.

Everything that we do on this earth has a corresponding consequences whether for good or evil that we do to ourselves or to the people close to us. This is the ripple effect of our lives on the people that we come in contact with.
