36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him.
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

The disciples learned much about themselves and the Lord as they encountered a storm on the Sea of Galilee. Is it possible this storm was experienced for their benefit? I think so, and our storms can be opportunities for growth.

The things we say in the midst of the storm! Like the disciples fearful of dying at sea while Jesus lies asleep, we cry out, "Carest Thou Not"? Answer the question now and find strength later in the storm. Feed faith, now!

Storms will come, but we need not fear; for we know the Master of the Storms! This account gives great comfort that God is always with us. He challenges us to higher faith & it's the storm that reveal Him as the all-powerful Son of God!
