  • Experience: I have served the Lord in the following ministries: Inner-city missions: 3 years Youth/ Associate Pastor: 5 years Senior Pastor: 2003-present
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: "If these bullets fit your gun then by all means use em."
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: I preached a series on the significance of eagles as Christians. People really were touched by that series. I have been recieving various articles with eagles on them ever since!
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Spears in the arctic are placed above ground with frozen blood on them. When wild animals come to lick the "blood popcicles" they unknowing cut thir own tonguges and soon after perish themselves. They recieve the taste of blood and and never realize it is their own. Sin does the same thing in our lives.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My folks really seem to enjoy them. They really love my enthusiasm and clear outlined approach.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Get out of the way and let the Lord lead. I have also learned to be flexible yet fully studied at the same time. I also try to preach each sermon as if it would be my last time in the pulpit.
  • Books that have had an impact: Teaching to change Lives by Howard Hendricks The Strategy of Satan by Warren Wiersbe The Baptism with the Holy Spirit by R.A. Torrey
  • Hobbies: Reading faith inspiring books, soul winning, mountain biking, Jiu-Jitsu martial arts.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!!! There is only one life, it will soon be past and only what's done for Christ will last.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I held my Bible up in the air while preaching and a bunch of papers fell out on the floor in fronmt of everyone. I then reached down to pick them all up and forgot where I was going with that point.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Faithful In all things to the glory of the Lord
