About Aaron
  • Education: I completed 2 years of basic education in college. After that I did preaching internships for three years where I worked with some very good preachers. I personally believe the experience gained in that manner far exceeds the experience gained from sitting in a classroom.
  • Experience: I have been preaching now for about 7 years.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: There is no such thing as original material when it comes to our sermons. In fact, anytime we preach something new we are preaching something false. Because of this, feel free to use the material I post as it benefits you and feel free to forget that you got it from me. God’s word is where our material comes from! Also, if you find anything you disagree with or have any questions about feel free to contact me
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: I suppose my studies of Romans and Nehemiah have had the biggest impact on me thus far.
  • Family: I am 26 years old. I am currently single. Both of my parents are still living. My dad is preaches the gospel as well. I have one sister and one brother. Throughout my childhood my family had foster children in their home and I feel I learned a lot from that.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Of course they are partial...
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Still single... so far my spouse doesn’t say much about my sermons! Haha!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: "I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." (2 Tim 4:1-5)
  • Books that have had an impact: The Bible - need I say more?
  • Hobbies: I love to spend time playing sports. Particularly soccer, football, basketball, tennis, raquetball, and softball. I enjoy fishing, hiking, and anything else outdoors related. I don’t think it’s called a hobby but I really enjoy singing spiritual songs.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: I would plead with those gathered concerning their need for salvation. I would begin with the problem of sin, the sacrifice of Christ, and then how we receive the gift of eternal life from the book of Acts.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Well... two weeks straight I made the blunder of saying that David committed adultery with Uriah the Hittite. I stopped after I made the mistake and said, "It wasn’t Uriah but Bathsheba... adultery with Uriah would be a whole different sermon!" Another time a lady had left her diaper bag at the building. Evidently a mouse decided to take up residence there. When she went to get some things out of the bag the mouse jumped out. If you just picture what you’d imagine the effect of a mouse running around where a bunch of women were sitting that would be the correct picture. It was funny.
  • What I want on my tombstone: He faithfully served God all the days of his life
