• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I'm not perfect or polished but I love Jesus and His Word. Please share with me anything you see that may be a point of poor theology.
• Sermon or series that made a difference: Pastor Tim Gilligan: "The day I stop being nervous preaching is the day I need to step down." Preaching on reverence for God.
• One of my favorite illustrations: Passengers on the airplane given parachutes (I posted it).

• What my parents think of my sermons: Mom: "Sweety! I don't even feel like an hour passed!" Dad: "Did you say 'crap' again?"
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Yawn! "You do pretty good, baby."
• Best advice given to me about preaching: To overcome nervous feelings, just smash your fist on the pulpit and say, "By God, let's do this!" Then just preach. That came from my first mentor, Pastor T. Carl Thompson. I never had to use it but having it in my tool belt made me feel better.
• Books that have had an impact: Too many to think of right now.
• Hobbies: Skateboarding, Playing Bass Guitar
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Nothing else matters but getting people to know our Jesus!
