About Bryan
  • Education: I received my Master Divinity in 1989 and have been an ordained United Methodist pastor since 1991. I received my Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary through the Beeson Pastor Fellowship in 1994.
  • Experience: I have pastored seven different United Methodist Churches.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Please feel free to use anything you can from any of my sermons. I only ask that you give credit where credit is due, and you can be assured I’ll do the same for you. I believe we’re all on the same team and if what God gave me can benefit you, go for it!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: My favorite sermon series that I think made the most difference was one during The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe also by that title. And then I did a series called "American Disciple" based off the hit tv series "American Idol."
  • Family: I am married to the same wife of 29 years and have four incredible children ranging from 16- 26. God has blessed me.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Why they think they’re the best. Of course!
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She has told me that she thinks my sermons rock. But she’s also the first to tell me when they don’t. She really believes in me and God’s call on my life and I’m so thankful.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Stay true to who I am. God didn’t make me like Bill Hybels or Robert Schuller and he didn’t make them like me.
  • Hobbies: I love to fish, camp, travel and read.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: I would have to tell people that God is a God full of redeeming love.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Don’t look down. Look up.
