  • Sermon or series that made a difference: The sermon that had a lasting impact on my life was a sermon preached by Rev. Donnell Horn who is the pastor of the New Revelation Baptist Church. He preached a sermon in Dec. 1982 that was entitled, "I can’t wait until I am grown"-Luke 15:11-32. That sermon impacted me because it was that sermon that led me to re-dedicate my life back to Christ.

  • Best advice given to me about preaching: The best advice given to me about preaching is to make sure that my sermons are Christ-centered, bibilically correct, and theological sound. Never go to church without a sermon prepared. Always be ready to preach by praying and studying God’s word. Don’t let the pulpit be the only place where you preach the gospel; preach the word everywhere!!!! Last but not least, if lawyers, teachers, and doctors go to school to be learn their profession, ministers should go to seminary, or bible c

The whole congregation laughed, including the little girl who gave the answer.
