Sighing is part of the human condition. In Mark 7, Jesus breathed a sign of utter sorrow and compassion for a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment. Then He healed him. This sermons shows the compassionate heart of Jesus.

One time a Gentile woman asked Him to deliver her daughter from a demon. In His reply, Jesus called her a dog. Was Jesus being rude to this woman…or is there more to the story?
