About Dag
  • Education: Dag qualified as a medical doctor in 1989 from the University of Ghana Medical School. In 1990 he was ordained into the ministry at the Victory Church, London, and later consecrated as a Bishop in 1996 by the international Ministerial Council of Great Britain.
  • Experience: Dag Heward-Mills is the founding minister and the Presiding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International. He is also an extraordinary and prolific writer, with 58 best selling books and has over 6 million of those books in print today. His books are available in 116 different titles and translated into 7 different languages: French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Amharic and Korean. He serves on the Board of Church Growth International.
  • Family: Dag, his wife Adelaide and their four children David, Joshua, Daniella and Paula live in Accra Ghana where Dag began the ministry. Their passion - to spread the Good News of the Gospel across the world and to plant churches where there are people.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: The best way to learn how to preach is to listen to constantly listen to other preachers, and read their books. Develop the habit of having a personal daily quiet time with God - most of by best sermons came to me during my quiet time.
