• Education: I have a B.A. in Physical Education and English from Marshall University I also have an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas I am working on a D.Min. from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana
• Experience: I have been in Ministry for 40 years serving as Pastor, Associate Pastor, Christian School teacher, coach, Vice-Principal, Athletic Director. I have worked in both a congregational setting and House Church. I also am in Mission work in Haiti. I have travelled to Israel, Europe, Scandanavia, Greece, Africa and Bahammas on mission trips, preaching and teaching.
• Sermon or series that made a difference: Preaching through the following books: Hebrews Galatians Ephesians Colossians John Jude Preaching a series on "the Glory that Follows". Teaching on "Suffering in the life of the believer".
• Family: I am married and have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren
• Best advice given to me about preaching: "Share Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and leave the results to God."

• Hobbies: I like to play golf, work out at the gymn and hunt for wild game. I like to spend time with my family and love on my grandchildren.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: I once preached an entire sermon with a pencil behind my ear while my wife tried to signal me that it was there.
