  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I hope you find this encouraging.
  • Family: Married with three boys.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Ask them :)
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Keep it short and simple. There is a difference between having to same something and having something to say.
  • Books that have had an impact: Rethinking the Church by James Emery White
  • Hobbies: Reading, coffee, golf, coaching basketball.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: While doing the Lord Supper and with my wife playing the piano, her cell phone began to ring with the ringtone to Jaws. There was no way to get up and stop it because she was playing and I was standing there. Everyone was looking at her and me to do something but we just kept on going with the Lord Supper. It horrifying at the time but it is one of our favorite memories.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Philippians 1:21 and Romans 1:16
