• Comment to those looking at my sermons: Try to keep things simple, clear, concise, and relevant. There is no test on the Bible verses to get into heaven. God's grace and your faith will get you there.

• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Everyone goes to heaven! The question is: How long will you stay there after you bow and kneel before God the Father.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: While a fellow Chaplain was preparing to teach in a prison, I walked up to him, placed my hand on his shoulder in brotherly love. I said, "I can't wait for your inspiration this morning." Looking up from his bible, he replied, "Neither can I."
