About Don
  • Education: Graduate of Hampshire High School, Romney, WV and Free Gospel Bible College, Export, Pa.
  • Experience: Have served in particularly every area of ministry at some point from S.S. teacher, Youth minister, associate pastor, sr. pastor, evangelist and short-term missions.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: When I study I use the tools God gave me, first and foremost being the Bible itself. If anything I write feels right to someone who wishes to use it, by all means do so. I'm not convinced I have any right to copyright any inspiration or insight God may have given me. I use thoughts and illustrations passed on to me by other pastors, including from Sermon Central and lay no claim on any of my messages. I rely 1st on the Holy Spirit & thank God for all others who inspire me with a thought or text.
  • Family: Married with one son, Danny, age 35; two daughters, Nicole, 33, and Jillian, 28; two grandchildren, Gabriel, 10 and Cash, 8.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." From Paul to Timothy.
  • Hobbies: enjoying studying, fishing, and my family
  • What I want on my tombstone: "All Because of Grace"
