  • One of my favorite illustrations: Dring a storm, a child called to his dad from his bedroom: "dad, can you come in here with me? I'm scared!" Dad said: "You're okay, God's with you." The child replied "Yes, but I want somebody with SKIN ON!!" (Let us all try to be the "somebody with skin on" that the world can see as we represent Jesus Christ.

  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Love your people...they don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

  • Hobbies: Music, singing, writing
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: 1.Life is short; 2. Death is sure; 3. Sin's the curse; 4. Jesus Christ is the cure.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: After the morning prayer, I was looking out over the congregation for a staff member who was late to the service. I was backing toward my pulpit chair, and didn't realize I grabbed the outside arm of the chair. Sat Squarely on the floor of the pulpit area, missed the chair! Everyone had a great laugh! I was sore for a few days!!
