Too many professing Christians believe Christ needs a little help to finish His work. They are like the Judiazers Paul fought and like Cain who wanted God to accept His work rather than having the faith of Abel.

Marx said religion was the opiate of the masses. He was wrong. Sports are not only the opiate, but the religion of the masses.

Even if that phrase is accurate for a Christian do we really understand what that may look like in our life?
Everyone likes to use the phrase the best is yet to come. If you are not a Christian the worst is yet to come. Your life may be golden here, but in the end your life will be Hell for eternity.
