Our needs are different. For some of us as we prepare for Christmas we need God to give us a good kick up the backside. For others of us, we have been through such tough times that we need God to wrap his arms around us and give us a great big hug.

We like to pretend we are far too nice to have enemies. But the bible is realistic. It doesn't try to pretend we don't have enemies. Instead it tells us how God wants us to treat them...
