• Sermon or series that made a difference: While I am given to preaching in series format, In December 2003, I began a sermon series entitled, "The Greatest Story Ever Told," which began with the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ birth and followed His life through Lent, Good Friday, the Resurrection, and the Ascension. Not satisfied, I stayed with the series and delivered messages on the birth of the early Church as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. The sermon series--2 messages on most Sundays for over a year--did not end until January,
