  • Experience: Planted a church in Lewiston, Maine in 1990 and pastored it for 8 years, it closed in 2007. Pastored a church in Upland, California for six years and now I have been here since fall of 2003.

  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I preached a whole sermon about Noah being swallowed by a big fish and walking through the streets of Nineveh. Throughout the sermon I never figured out why the congregation was shaking their heads in disbelief.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Lived longer than I thought I would.
