About Ian
  • Education: Grade 12 and some college.
  • Experience: Very little.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I have only preached 3 times, once each month since January. I have not gone to any seminary or school. I just live the word and I let the Holy Spirit lead my life and discern for me.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: The one about the Airplace crash.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They are non-beleivers and I am sure that they think I am a little crazy.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She thinks that they are God’s message.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach only on what you absolutely know for sure.
  • Books that have had an impact: Preacher and his preaching. by Alfred P. Gibbs
  • Hobbies: Hockey, Baseball and preaching
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: We only have one life, one chance, to make a choice that will last forever, In fact when you feel like you are beginning to believe their is hope, and there is life after death, then that is your opportunity to come to Him, and the place is here and the time is now. The Lord needs you. All of you.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: My cell phone went off.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Her lies and empty grave, because He is risen!

2 Cor 12:9 "My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Today I would like to talk about contentment and how we can make the Lords grace sufficient for us. Genesis 1:26… 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule ...read more

Evidence for the resurrection of Jesus.

I recently was a part of a memorial service where a young child was being remembered. And I don’t think that there is anything more agonizing than the loss of a child. In fact when I think about loosing my little girls, it makes feel sick with grief. And my heart really went out to the Mother of ...read more
