• Education: I am a high school grad and have been devoted to the study of the word of God since I was 17yrs old.
• Experience: I have served in every position you could imagine. I am happy to say that I am not without a solid understanding of what it is to be both a servant and a leader. In fact I believe it is the role of a true leader to be both.
• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I don’t seek approval, I just ask that you open your heart and ears to the message. My hope is that God would use these sermons to cause others and myself to come closer to Him.
• Sermon or series that made a difference: Every word from God makes a difference.
• One of my favorite illustrations: Instead of cutting away the branches of a tree you need to get to its root. Because while the root remains there the branches will return.
• Family: I am married to the strongest and most Godly woman I could have asked for. We have been through the trials of life since we were married in 2005 and have both become stronger and a little bit more wise.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She (really) thinks they are good for those who hear. And she also probably thinks I need to stop going over them with her so much. But at times she thinks they are confusing, too much info, and I need to give the audience notes to follow along.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: I heard once a preacher tell about the advice he was given. I took it as my own too. Remember two things, don’t try to preach the WHOLE bible at one time...and it’s ok to have notes in front of you when you preach.
• Hobbies: Swimming is a big one. I could do it every day for hours on end.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: You have a choice to make between heaven or hell. What's so hard about it?!
• Something funny that happened while preaching: I told a joke and the audience laughed lol, I thought that was odd.
• What I want on my tombstone: I'll see you later.
