  • What my parents think of my sermons: My mother is in heaven but my father really enjoys my sermons.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: The sermon is never about the person, it is about what God has done for the person.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I had been ill and feeling weak for few days but did preach that Sunday. It was the Advent season and I was stating that December 25th was approaching and it came out "December two five th." Everyone giggled and I laughed and said "Let's try this one again."
