About Jerry
  • Education: Received Doctor of Ministry Degree from International Seminary in 1999.
  • Experience: I have pastored churches in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona for the past 27 years.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I believe in preaching the ancient gospel to a modern world. I will not water down the gospel in order to attract men. There will always be those who are offended by the gospel, but let them be because the "preaching of the gospel is foolishness to them that perish, but to us which are saved it is the power of God."
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Discipleship Series that was adapted from Oswald Sanders books on Spiritual Siscipleship.
  • Family: I am married and have two children (both grown and married). I have two grandchildren.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My wife says that she likes my preaching and always learns from it. I hope so! She sits through the same sermon three times each Sunday morning.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: "If it can’t be said in twenty-five minutes, it probably shouln’t be said at all."
  • Hobbies: Photography, woodworking, and writing. I have written three books: "Words for Abundant Living," "Why Did These Things Happen to Me? - (Subtitle) "Finding God’s Purpose for Our Sufferings", and "The Divine Ability of God."
  • What I want on my tombstone: He walked with God.

From the Depths to Deliverance Psalm 130 Many of the 150 psalms recorded in the Old Testament were written by David, King of Israel, and they vary between praise and petition. A Letter That Reveals... Revelation 1 Though I write very few personal letters, I do enjoy receiving them.
