About Jerry
  • Education: Pastor Jerry Smith has completed doctorates in Christian education and Theology; master's in Teaching-English, Theological Studies, Biblical Counseling, and Business; bachelor's degrees in Divinity and Occupational Education, as well as certificates in Editing-Proofreading and Paralegal.
  • Experience: Dr. Jerry Smith is originally from Stockton, California, though he calls Texas his residence. He has been an independent, bi-vocational, visiting, helping, teaching-pastor since 2014, ministering in the Philippines. These days, he is in Ilocos Norte. His main emphasis is reaching out to churches or other Christian organization with a Diploma in Ministry Essentials program. He is a conservative, Bible-based (KJV), non-denominational sponsored by Faith Missionary Church and Bible Institute, Gruetli-Laager, TN, USA. He supports his family as an online English language teacher, an adjunct professor of English composition & ESL program coordinator in an accredited online Christian university, a TESOL certificate trainer and consultant, and finally as an author of Christian books and materials, ESL books and materials, and has published, peer-reviewed professional papers covering the fields of Christian education and TESOL. His background includes nearly ten years in the United States Air Force, finishing his career as a master instructor in the Air University Technical Training School. He began his ministry training as a layman in 2001 in nearly all facets of church operations under an American missionary, was ordained in 2009, became a creation-education speaker in 2010 under C-Ed, pastored a small house church from 2011-2013, and served as visiting pastor in two churches from 2013 to 2018. Currently, he is pastoring a small house church, Our Lord's Bible Church, in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, with his family, awaiting the next open door to teach the DME.
