The Cross Of Christ
Contributed on Mar 30, 2018
The Cross of Christ is one of division, decision, and dedication.
The Cross of Christ John 19:16-22 Perhaps the most familiar of all Christian symbols is the cross. Can you look in almost any direction without seeing a cross? They are on the top of steeples, hanging on the walls, and worn on gold chains around necks, often by those who have little if any ...read more

Having The Right Focus
Contributed on Dec 31, 2017
To live pleasing to the Lord one must have the right focus or priorities in one's daily walk. Christ must be that priority. He alone must be our focus.
Having The Right Focus in the New Year Matthew 6:24-34 As we face the end of one year and the start of a new year, it would be good to evaluate what our desires are for the coming year. What are the priorities that we have or will establish for ourselves in this coming year? E.M. Gray ...read more

His Unspeakable Gift
Contributed on Nov 19, 2017
The greatest gift we have is that of Christ. Paul describes it as indescribable. It is so because of incomprehensible love, an inexpressible sacrifice, and its inexplicable result.

Two teenagers asked their father if they could go the theater to watch a movie that all their friends had seen. After reading some reviews about the movie on the internet, he denied their request. Contributed on Jan 2, 2012
A humorous birthday card read: "You are only young once, but you can be immature forever." The sad truth is too many Christians have made that their mantra. Paul said to the believers at Corinth, “I, brethren, could not speak to you as ...read more

Contributed on Dec 25, 2009
As I was driving this past week I was noticing how beautiful the path of lights along the highway looked against the darkness of the pre-dawn sky. The lights lighting the roadway sparkled like diamonds against a canvas of ebony. The scene caused me to think about the beauty of the night. As I gazed ...read more
