  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Some of my sermons are designed to be multi-sensory. For example, "Getting Out of The Box" preached on October 28, 2001 started with me sitting in a large appliance box.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: The very first sermon I preached in 1979 as a senior in college, "What Does It Mean To Do the Will of God?"

  • Something funny that happened while preaching: As I stood to preach on a hot July Sunday morning in a building without AC, one of the elderly members passed out due to the heat.
