  • Experience: I was called to Trinity in Jan 1998 and have been there for 17 years. Associate Pastor of Trinity Baptist in Metterich Germany, 1993-94. Ordained Deacon; Sunday School Teacher for adults and children. Men's Ministry and Evangelism.

  • One of my favorite illustrations: Story that I use about a little girl who always cuts through the cemetary every day after school. When asked why, she simply replies, Because it’s the way home!
  • Family: Married to wonderful wife of 31 years. I have four beautiful daughters and five wonderful grandbabies 1 - 5 years of age.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: The always have enjoyed them
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Encourages me at times but also at times my worst critic. She keeps me honest and humble :)
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Feed the sheep because you love Jesus, not because you love the sheep

  • Hobbies: Woodworking Fishing Knife Collecting Sports
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: The key to living for Christ is dying to your earthly desires.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I had broken my right ankle and had to do a baptism. My right leg kept floating because my wadders had air and I was doing a balancing act during the baptism.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Loving Husband, father, and sold out follower of Jesus Christ!
