  • What my parents think of my sermons: My Dad is a minister as well, so he has helped me a great deal in sermon preparation. So I’d say they think they are pretty great!
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: I have been known to do alot of illustrated sermons, sometimes I scare her because they can be pretty wacky! But other than that, she enjoys them!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Be real, don’t try to conform to something you’re not. Look people in their eyes, make them connect to what you’re saying. My dad once told me to not let my service to Him become dull and methodical but stay fresh! That has been good advice.
