About Lee
  • Education: I was never given the opportunity to get more than a high school education but I have overcome this by educating myself via study of the Bible and by reading many Christian books.
  • Experience: I have over 20 years of ministry experience as a pastor, worship leader and administrator in the local church setting, and also 20 years of ministry experience on Christian Radio as a DJ in Ohio and Florida.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: My prayer is that you will find these sermons to be challenging and lifegiving to help you be the person God wants you to be in spreading His Kingdom.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Sermons and or series on "The Kingdom of God" have greatly influenced my life recently. So much so that I am preparing a teaching series "Your Kingdom Come" to present in a variety of settings.
  • Family: I have been married nearly 37 years and we have three adult children and four grandchildren.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Anyone can say something but not everyone has something to say. Always try to quit before they do.
  • Books that have had an impact: The Myth of A Christian Nation Pegan Christianity Jesus For President
  • Hobbies: I love to sing more than anything, read and watch my favorite Ohio sports teams.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Don’t be so gullible! Study God’s Word like the Bereans who "were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."
  • What I want on my tombstone: "I’d Rather Be Singing and Now I Am"

I believe there are hundreds of thousands and maybe even millions in the church of America and around the world who are close to, in other words, “not far from the Kingdom of God.”

“So Close and Yet So Far!” It was one of the best football games ever. Remember Super Bowl XXXIV between the Rams and Titans? In the final seconds Tennessee was driving for the game-tying touchdown and on the final play Kevin Dyson caught a pass over the middle and ...read more

It was one of the best football games ever. Remember Super Bowl XXXIV between the Rams and Titans? In the final seconds Tennessee was driving for the game-tying touchdown and on the final play Kevin Dyson caught a pass over the middle and lunged for the goal line. He was tackled just short of the ...read more
