About Mark
  • Education: I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennesee.
  • Experience: I have served as an evangelist, associate pastor and pastor. I also write a weekly inspirational column for 14 newspapers around the country.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: My most often requested series is a series I wrote entitled: "Struggles of the heart and mind." I have not yet posted them.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: I have a plaque that has a quote on it by Richard Baxter. It says, "I preached as never sure to preach again and as a dying man to dying men." It’s good advice.
  • Books that have had an impact: The Story of God by Michael Lodahl
  • Hobbies: golf
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I threw the "He threebrews into the fernery firace," proclaimed the evils of the "flush of the lesh," and other things that I would rather forget.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Faithful to the End
