Jephthah tells the Ammonites the land God gave the Israelites will not be surrendered back to them. A message about how the enemy is always trying to take back lost territory and how we should respond.

Critical mass is a tipping point. A message that the world is heading to critical mass and we need to be ready because things are in the process of a massive shift.

Saul was a man who wept and repented often, but never really changed. 3 points: 1. Beware of a low after a high. 2. Don't serve God with just your lips, but your heart also. 3. It is not how you start out, but how you end up that counts.

This promise was made to the Jewish nation when they were reeling from judgment and the consequences of their own actions. Have you ever had to face the consequences of your own actions? Wouldn't it be nice if, at that time, you got handed a mulligan?

Recently had to deal with a bitter root that showed up in church. I had been reading Tale of 3 Kings just prior. Decided to speak about the Saul in me, rather than the Saul in others.
