• Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach the Word! Preach everything in it and nothing that isn't. // Place more confidence in your prayer than in your preaching. // You will most likely accomplish more with a body of work rather than one sermon. // To replace the teaching of God's Word with your own ideas and philosophies is to usurp the intelligence of God. // Rather than try to guess what your people need each week, preach from the Book written by the one who created your people.

• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus Christ is more important than anything in this world. Give him your heart, life, loyalty and your every idle thought. He deserves it. Should you choose not to do so, it would be your loss not His.
