About Michael
  • Education: B.A. Religion: Belmont University Nashville, Tn. B.S. Philosophy " M. Div.; Trinity Theological Seminary. Newburg Indiana. M.S. Philosophy University of Tennessee. Knoxville, TN. M.B.A. Trevecca Nazarene University. ED.d University of Alabama
  • Experience: I have been Pastoring Churches in Tennnessee, and Kentucky for aprox eighteen years.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I am but a pot in which the hope of Christ Is carried to a dry and desalate land. I cannot take credit for the good but point you to Him who knows far more than I.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: The story of Three Trees.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: they haven’t heard them.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: By Dr. Adrian Rodgers, "keep your knees on the floor and your head in the Bible."
  • Books that have had an impact: Aristotle, "Nicomachen Ethics."
  • Hobbies: Preaching and Evangelism
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: There is much to think on and asimilate in life, but the one truth that always stands fast is the love of Christ Jesus to aspire and inspire.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I was at a church one winter and we had the heat going pretty well. The ceilings were high so they heat really rose. A nest of wasps hatched above the pulpit and begain to descend on the Pastor. I was able to crush a few in my Bible.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Preaching as never sure to preach again, a dying man to dying men!
