  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I prefer to speak the truth versus writing it down.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Get out of the Boat
  • One of my favorite illustrations: comes from others as they live life
  • Family: I have a beautiful wife of 33 years and a 26 year old son
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My parents have gone on to heaven but I believe they would smile.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She wishes she didn't have to listen them on podcast on Mondays because she is serving the children on Sunday.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Little Victories and Little defeats make up life. There are no rules so don't limit yourself by what others think of you.
  • Books that have had an impact: Shape of Things to Come - Alan Hirsch and Micheal Frost; The Great Giveaway by David Fitch; Tangible Kingdom by Hugh Halter; Joshua by Grizzone; Accidental Pharisees by Larry Osborne; Soul Revolution/Unshockable Love by Burke; Underground Church by Sanders; Crazy Love by Francis Chan; Irresistible Revolution
  • Hobbies: reading, movies, working out
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: God's grace gives us the power to not take ourselves too seriously and love unconditionally.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: A 6'7" fully dressed elve ran through service unexpectedly
  • What I want on my tombstone: He gave all he had for Christ
