About Ronnie
  • Education: I graduated from the Baltimore City College (high school), a BS degree from the Coppin State University which I majored in elementary education with two minors: vocal music and mathematics, I have a Master’s Equivalency from the Maryland State Department of Education in Elementary/Middle School Education, a MS degree from the Morgan State University in mathematics, and a BS, MS and a Doctorate of Theology from the Philadelphia Bible Institute, College, and Seminary.
  • Experience: I am presently an employee of the Baltimore City Public School System for 30 years and hold the position as a Mathemaics Academic Coach. I help teachers refine their instruction in the areas of mathematics and science. I was called by God to preach His gospel in 2001. I was called while I was a member at the New Psalmist Baptist Church which is located here in Baltimore Maryland.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: As you read my sermons, I truly hope that God will speak to you through the sermons. It’s all about His Son Jesus the Christ and not about me.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Your Condition Is Not Your Conclusion (3 part series)
  • Family: I am presently married to a wonder God fearing virtuous woman who is my backbone in the ministry, preaching, and is the number one catalyst (God being the first of all things) in giving me the encouragement that I need on this pilgrim journey.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Both of my parents are deceased, but knowing how they are about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. As long as the sermons are biblical and they are preached with the power of the Holy spirit, both of them would be satisfied and very happy with me because I no longer live a hypocritical life and have surrendered myself over to Jesus the Christ.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My wonderful wife Denise is inspired with the sermons that I write with the help of the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit uses me to get His message across.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Stay humble, prayed up, and stay in the Word!!
  • Books that have had an impact: He Came To Set The Captives Free by Rebecca Brown, MD, A Divine Revelation Of Hell by Kate Baxter, and When The Enemy Strikes by Charles Stanley
  • Hobbies: My hobbies are reading the Word of God, breeding African Cichlid fish, listening to music, enjoying my grand kids, and pleasing my wife!!
  • What I want on my tombstone: "If I Can Help Somebody As I Pass Along So My Living Will Not Be In Vain"
