About Ryan
  • Experience: I have been in ministry for 11 years and a Senior Pastor for 6 years as Pastor of Generation Church. Myself and another Pastor planted Generations January 1st, 2002. I have had extensive ministry experience in the Navy serving with the Marine Corps, serving 3 combat tours, 2 in Iraq and 1 in Somalia.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I do pray that God will stir your heart through these messages. God has been teaching me week by week and anything I can share with someone else that may help them or impact their lives, wonderful!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Verse by verse study of the book of Revelation. We had nearly 100 salvations during this series with a large growth spurt for the church.
  • Family: I have been married for 14 years to my wife Kellee and we have one son, Cameron.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They truly enjoy them and listen online whenever they get a chance.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Keep it simple, true to God’s Word, and let the Holy Spirit touch lives.
  • Books that have had an impact: Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire by Jim Cymbala and Driven by Eternity by John Bevere.
  • Hobbies: Study of God’s Word, personal worship and guitar playing, and trout fishing!
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Don’t allow another moment to pass you by without Jesus. Live life with no regrets. Jesus is the only Way to truly experience peace and lasting hope in life. Take Him into your life and never thirst again!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: We were meeting in a family fun center for a while in the beginning and there were video games down stairs. I was making a point on my message when a cowboy game downstairs gave out a loud "YAHOOOOO!" To this day that has stuck!
  • What I want on my tombstone: He lived and loved Jesus

God’s First Command to Man: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
