• Comment to those looking at my sermons: Pastor Greene acknowledges he has few completely unique thoughts. His preaching is a result of being an avid student of the Word, reader of many authors and listener to some great preaching. Much of who he is today is in large part due to great mentoring of a number of men of God. Some of these men are well known, others abide in relative obscurity and are thus unknown to the masses. Pastor Greene is grateful to all who have taken of their valuable time to invest in his life.
• Sermon or series that made a difference: Enough is Enough! Perhaps the most visibly convicting sermon he ever preached addressing murmuring/complaining. This sermon stirred the church in a profound way. Collision Course: A sermon that chronicles America’s continued persistence to despise God/His Word and America’s imminent appointment with divine judgment. Many in the congregation feel this sermon should be heard all across the country.
• One of my favorite illustrations: Illustrating the human reluctance toward discipline, I recall my two year old son, Philip, on one such occasion. Having been unusually uncooperative and disobedient on a shopping venture with the family, I finally had enough and announced to him in the van on the trip home that he would, in fact, receive a spanking when we got home. A full five minutes later Philip could be heard mumbling to no one in particular, "I think I’ll just stay in the van."
• Family: Pastor Greene is married to his lovely wife, Lisa, and together they have been blessed with four children: two boys and two girls. The eldest is Jennifer who is a senior attending Pensacola Christian College. Steven is next and is a sophomore at Trinity Baptist College. Philip and Aimee round out the foursome and attend Palm Bay Baptist Academy, a ministry of Palm Bay Baptist Church.
• What my parents think of my sermons: Pastor Greene’s parents have indicated any numerous occasions that his sermons "hit the mark" and that he is consistently growing in his ability to preach the uncompromising Word of God.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Does any man really know what a woman thinks? (Please no letters... just a little humor there) Lisa’s comments are generally favorable and always helpful. Her support of his ministry through the years speaks for itself.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Keep it simple - Make it relevant

• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ is more than intellectual assent to the facts surrounding Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. It involves a heart’s trust that results in a changed life. Many people filling the pews know the facts, but have denied the power thereof. I fear too many of us preachers have cultivated not a regenerate church, but an impotent, largely unregenerate "church" with a sugar-coated gospel which is not being the salt and light that Jesus asserted we are.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: In the middle of a sermon the fire alarm sounded, everyone exited in an orderly fashion and upon receiving the "all clear" to Pastor Greene’s surprise everyone returned to hear the rest of the message!
