About Simone
  • Education: I graduated from High School with honors in 1977, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but I didn’t complete my degree, I left college to get married and start a family. I am currently enrolled in a local bible college. Christian Couseling is my major.
  • Experience: I have been a license Evangelist in the COGIC for about two years, I have been saved for 18 years and I have been preaching for 9 years. I have worked in the Youth Department, Women Dept, Usher Board, Personal Secretary to a District Missonary, Alto in many gospel choirs and I am a praise leader.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I try to preach about my life experience and I try to share my Tests and Testimony with the congregation. I am willing to bear my soul if I think it will get one more soul into heaven.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: From Pain to Power Battered, beaten and Rejected but not Abandoned Genesis 16 and Genesis 21:8-20
  • Family: I have been married for 15 years to Pastor Al Williams Jr, We have 3 children 2 girls and 1 boy. I am very active in the lives of our 1 teenagers and 2 young adults. My husband is a preacher and an great man. He has preached some of the greatest sermons that I have heard. He is also a very compassonate Pastor, he is very involved with our small congreation here in the Panhandle. I love him and the kids and I have tried to find a balance between working and the church and family.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My husband told me that the sermon I mentioned above was one of the best sermons he had ever heared Preached.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: My husband has always told me to be myself, don’t try to preach like any other one else.
  • Books that have had an impact: Wow, there are so many I am reading now "Courageous Leaders"
  • Hobbies: I love to READ, it is my joy and my window to other places. I also write poetry
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Don’t Tell me To be Quiet Psalms 100
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I was preaching and kicked my foot to make a point and my shoe went flying in the air, The Pastor of the church where I was preaching his mother caught the shoe and no one was injuried. Thank GOD!
  • What I want on my tombstone: She was a Child of The King (Jesus)
